While I was working at event management company JG Events, I helped organise a winter wedding at the Chateau Saint Martin back in December 2008 for a lovely young Russian couple who hired the hotel for exclusive use over a long weekend. The venue was absolutely perfect for a festive season wedding with its cosy log fires and warm comfortable furnishings. The hotel has a fantastic La Prairie spa which was fully taken advantage of by the couple and their guests. Most of the photographs I have used to illustrate this post were taken at the wedding by photographer David Brenot and come from his blog.

Situated in Vence, near the charming medieval village of Saint Paul de Vence, the Chateau Saint Martin is part of the Oetker Collection, the same hotel group as the magnificent Hotel du-Cap-Eden-Roc and abides by the same principles of understated exclusivity and excellence in service. The hotel is a superb venue for weddings all year-round with its fabulous function room, luscious gardens and large terrace with breathtaking sea view. The Chateau Saint Martin even has its very own chapel, an idyllic place for an intimate wedding blessing.

The Chateau Saint Martin is a fantastic wedding venue for couples who would like to experience the ultimate in relaxation, wellbeing and Provencal-style relaxed luxury. If good food and wine is high on your priority list then you will not be disappointed with the Chateau Saint Martin. Head chef Yannick Franques is a protégé of the celebrated chef Alain Ducasse and the hotel’s head Sommelier Jean-Christophe Rault always picks out the perfect wines for each wedding menu.
